By locals referred to as the “Great Becca”, in German called Matterhorn, we are talking about the icon of the Alps: the Matterhorn! The perfect pyramid stands out and reigns over the ski area of Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche Zermatt, one of the largest in the Alps, which is spread over three valleys between Italy and Switzerland. A scenic helicopter flight up here means experiencing the greatness of one of the most narrated peaks, cradle of mountaineering, known and loved as far as Japan. It also means admiring from a unique perspective one of the most internationally known locations. What will you see ?
A panoramic helicopter flight over the Matterhorn and its surrounding peaks is an all-round experience. You will admire from above the Valtournenche and the upper Val d’Ayas; the proposed tours offer a privileged outlook reaching the horizon. In addition to the steep walls of the Gran Becca, its four ridges and the infamous north face, you will take a glance at the Valais Alps, famous for its numerous peaks over 4000 meters, all the way up to Mont Blanc. You also have the chance to fly over the Monte Rosa massif and its more than 15 peaks reaching the 4000-meter mark: Castor, Pollux, the crossing of the Lyskamm and the famous Punta Gnifetti where you’ll see the Regina Margherita Hut, the adjacent valleys: Zermatt, Cervinia and Gressoney.
